About the Wood County Clover Legacy Foundation

The Wood County Clover Legacy Foundation is responsible for managing donations made to the Wood County, Ohio 4-H Youth Development Program by investing and giving back to empower youth to reach their full potential, working in partnership with caring adults. The Foundation works closely with the Wood County 4-H Committee, a group that are works behind the scenes for the 4-H program volunteering, building, fixing, organizing, delegating, and more in cooperation with Ohio State University 4-H Extension, Wood County staff. These three groups strive to promote leadership development, provide learning and social opportunities to create lasting friendships, build confidence and motivation in today's youth, and support the Wood County 4-H program.

Historically, Wood County 4-H has been a leader in project development, encouraging service to the community, and forming young people to make the best better; the 4-H motto. A passion carried on for generations, the Wood County Clover Legacy Foundation was created to carry on the legacy cultivated through the Wood County 4-H Youth Development Program. As a hub to hold funds and build financial investments, the foundation provides the financial support needed to make ideas a reality.

In considering your financial support to organizations, know that the dollars contributed to the Wood County Clover Legacy Foundation are used to directly impact the lives of the young people in the local 4-H clubs, county, and surrounding areas. No amount of formal education can teach the life skills learned through this program. Thank you for your support whether financial, donation of goods, or volunteering your time. It all makes a difference.
