The 4-H Pledge includes pledging "...our hands to larger service for our club, community, country, and our world." Join Wood County 4-H members and their families for our inaugural day of service where we will come together for a shared purpose of making a difference.

The day will be an open house event so come anytime in the afternoon of April 6 and stay as long as you'd like. However two projects for organizations Let's Build and Kids Coalition Against Hunger, require a volunteer sign-up prior to the event. Sign-up forms are linked below for these two projects and all others will be available to do anytime throughout the event.

Community projects include:

• Building headboards and bed rails for 30 beds for Let's Build (volunteer)
• Packaging 10,000 meals for Kids Coalition Against Hunger (volunteer)
• Stuffing and sewing pillows for Hospice of Northwest Ohio
• Creating “Senior Smiles” crafts and cards for the Wood County Committee on Aging
• Making greeting cards for Flag City Honor Flight
• Assembling dog treats and toys for Wood County Humane Society and the Wood County Dog Shelter
• Planting and decorating flowerpots for area nursing homes/senior citizen centers
• Completing improvement projects for the Wood County Agricultural Society
