Who: 4-H members and families, clubs, and the general public

The 4-H Pledge includes pledging "...our hands to larger service for our club, community, country, and our world." Join Wood County 4-H for our second annual day of service where we will come together for a shared purpose of making a difference. This day was made possible through a generous donation by a local family wishing to remain anonymous, the Wood County Clover Legacy Foundation, and numerous other monetary and in-kind donors! Thank you to these generous donors!

​Let's Build Beds and Kids Coalition Against Hunger projects require pre-registration. All other projects will be open house style and can be done at will, stay as long as you'd like!

Projects include:

• Assembling buckeye keychains for the camp store for 4-H Camp Palmer
• Making jump ropes for Bags of Love
• Creating greeting cards for military veterans Flag City Honor Flight
• Packaging 20,000 meals (doubling last year!) to be delivered locally, nationally, and globally for Kids Coalition Against Hunger
• Preparing headboards and rails for 50 twin beds (20 more than last year!) ​for future assembly in family homes for Let's Build Beds
• Stuffing and sewing small pillows for local patients at Hospice of Northwest Ohio
• Creating notes, coloring pictures, and crafting bookmarks for area cancer patients for The Victory Center
• Hand tying fleece blankets in conjunction with the Traumatic Brain Injury Resource Center
• Completing improvement projects for the Wood County Agricultural Society 
• Assembling dog treats and toys for the Wood County Dog Shelter and Wood County Humane Society
• Planting and decorating flower pots for area nursing homes and senior citizen centers​
